metebabaer ken emiየኢትዮጵያ ሥራ አመራር ኢንስቲትዩት የፍቅርና የመተባበር ቀን በሚል የካቲት 07/ቀን 2011 ዓ.ም በደብረዘይት ሥራ አመራር ማሰልጠኛ ማዕከል የኢንስቲትዩት አመራሮችና ሠራተኞች በተገኙበት የማነቃቂያ ፕሮግራም በድምቀት ተከበር፡፡
የፕሮግራሙ ዋና ዓላማ በአመራሩና በሠራተኞች ውስጥ የተፈጠረውን የመነሳሳት መንፈስ ግለቱን ጠብቆ እንዲቀጥልና ይበልጥ እንዲጎለብት እንዲሁም በፍቅር የተሳሰረና በባለቤትነት መንፈስ ተልዕኮውን በትጋት ለመፈፀም ዝግጁ የሆነ የኢንስቲትዩቱ ማህበረሰብ ለመፍጠር ሲሆን የኢትዮጵያ ሥራ አመራር ኢንስቲትዩቱ ዋና ዳይሬክተር ወ/ሮ ውብአምላ እሸቱ ያለፈው መጥፎ ነገር ወደ ቆሻሻ ማጠራቀሚያ ጥለን ካለፈው ጥሩውን ብቻ በመውሰድ ለቀጣይ በፍቅርና በተመባበር ተቋማችን ተወዳዳሪ፣ ራዕዩንና ተልዕኮውን ፈጻሚ እንዲሆን እናድርገው ሲሉ መልዕክት አስተላልፏል፡፡

የኢትዮጵያ ሥራ አመራር ም/ዋ/ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር አትክልቲ ሐጎስ በርብቃ ኮሄለር የተመራውን የኢንትራ ሄልዝ ኢንተርናሽናል ቡድን በኢንስቲትዩቱ ተቀብለው ያወያዩ ሲሆን ሁለቱ ተቋማት በአጋርነት ሊሰሯቸው ስለሚችሉ ሥራዎች ሰፊ ውይይት አድርገዋል፡፡

The eService system is designed to provide a common platform and generic tools for online transactional services. Ethiopian Management Institute has signed a memorandum of understanding with Crown Agents of, Great Britain.

This was disclosed when Ethiopian Management Institute and Crown Agents - UK based international development company - signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday to explore areas of cooperation in human resource development.

The agreement is also tipped to promote ties between the two countries in the area of public sector management development.

EMI Director General Mengistu Yitbarek, stated his belief that the partnership that was striked by the two institutions will give EMI new competitive advantage, and introduce best practices into Ethiopia's public service system. He added that as a pioneer management development center in the country that has done a lot in enhancing the managerial capacity of Ethiopia's civil service, the Institute has to equip itself with new competencies and capabilities through partnerships with international organizations.

Further, he mentioned that the dynamic change of the national and global governance environment demands new intervention and approaches. This is why it is essential to work along with Crown Agents, a company that shares common objectives with us and has an experience of working with different national cultures, Mengistu opined.

emotional entelegenceየኢንስቲትዩቱን ሠራተኞች በሁለት ዙር “emotional intelligence” ስልጠና እየወሰዱ ነው፡፡ የመጀመሪያው ዙር ስልጠና ጥር 28 ቀን 2011 ዓ.ም የጀመረ ሲሆን የካቲት 1 ቀን 2011 ዓ.ም ይጠናቀቃል፡፡ ሁለተኛው ዙርም በካቲት ወር የመጀመሪያው ሳምንት እንደሚጀምር ታውቋል፡፡ ስልጠናውን እየሰጡ የሚገኙት ከካናዳ “ Canadian Executive Service Organization” ተቋም የመጡት Mr. Clare Paulson ናቸው፡፡

02/ ውብአምላክ እሸቱ እና / አታክልት ሐጐስ የኢትዮጵያ ሥራ አመራር ኢንስቲትዩቱ ዋና ዳይሬክተር እና //ዳይሬክተር በመሆን ተሾሙ፡፡

/ ውብአምላክ እሸቱ በኢንስቲትዩቱ ከዚህ ቀደም በዋና አማካሪነት 10 ዓመታት በላይ ያገለገሉ ሲሆን በፖሊሲ ጥናትና ምርምር ኢንስቲትዩት፣ በሲቭል ሰርቪስ ኮሚሽንና በሌሎች ተቋማትም በተለያየ የሥራ ኃላፊነት ላይ አገልግለዋል፡፡

ከጥር 1 ቀን 2011 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ የኢንስቲትዩቱ ዋና ዳይሬክተር ሆነው ተሹመዋል፡፡
በምክትል ዋና ዳይሬክተርነት የተሾሙት ዶ/ር አታክልት ሐጐስ በሲቪል ሰርቪስ ዩንቨርሲቲ በማስተማርና በኃላፊነት ደረጃ ከ16 ዓመታት በላይ ያገለገሉ ሲሆን ወደ ኢንስቲትዩቱ ከመዛወራቸው በፊትም በዩንቨርሲቲው ውስጥ የአመራርና የአስተዳደር ኮሌጅ ዲን ነበሩ፡፡ ዶ/ር አታክልት ሐጐስ የተለያዩ ስልጠናዎችን በሀገር ውስጥና ከሀገር ውጪ በመስጠት የማማከር አገልግሎትየሰሩ ሲሆን ሁለት የምርምር መፃህፍትንም አበርክቷል፡፡ሁለቱም የሥራ ኃላፊዎች በሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ሲሰሩ በነበሩ የለውጥ ሥራዎች ላይ በጋራ በመሳተፍም የበኩላቸውን ሚና መጫወት ችለዋል፡፡
የኢትዮጵያ ሥራ አመራር ኢንስቲትዩት ሁለቱንም የሥራ ኃላፊዎች እንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ እያለ መልካም የሥራ ጊዜ እንዲሆንላቸሁ ከልብ ይመኛል፡፡

በደብረዘይት ሥራ አመራር ማሰልጠኛ ማዕከል በተዘጋጀው መድረክ ኢንስቲትዩቱ ራሱን በመለወጥና ሀገሪቱ እያካሄደች ካለው ነባራዊ ሁኔታ ጋር ተደምሮ ሊጓዝ እንደሚገባ የሲቭል ሰርቪስ ኮሚሽን ኮሚሽነር አቶ በዛብህ ገ/የስ ተናግረዋል፡፡
የኢንስቲትዩቱ ሠራተኞች ራሳቸውን ወደ ፕሮፌሽናልነት በመለወጥ ችግር ፈቺ ሊሆኑ እንደሚገባ የገለፁት ኮሚሽነሩ ድህነት ወረስ የሆኑ አስተሳሰቦችን በመቀየር፣ ሥራንና ፖለቲካን ነጣጥሎ በመመልከትና በመተግበር እንዲሁም ዛሬን ሳይሆን የነገን ራዕይ በማሰብ ኢንስቲትዩቱ የተጣለበትን ተልዕኮ ለመወጣት ከትናንት በተሻለ ትጋትና ጥረት መሥራት እንዳለበት ኮሚሽነሩ መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል፡፡

ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ  አቶ ማስረሻ አበበም ከኢንስቲትዩቱ ሠራተኞች ጋር በዚህ መድረክ  የኢንስቲትዩቱን የ100 ቀናት ዕቅድ ሲዘጋጅ ታሳቢ የተደረጉ ዋና ዋና ነጥቦችንም ከዓለም አቀፍ ተሞክሮ ጋር በማያያዝ ለሠራተኞች አመላክተዋል፡፡ የኢትዮጵያ ሥራ አመራር ኢንስቲትዩት ስትራቴጂክ ሥራ አመራርር ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር አቶ ወርቅነህ አክሊሉ በቀጣይ በኢንስቲትዩቱ የሚከናወኑ አምስት ቁልፍ ጉዳዮችን ያካተተ የ100 ቀናት ዕቅድ አቅርበው ሁሉም ሠራተኞች በ100 ቀናት ዕቅዱ ላይ በውይይት እንዲሳተፉ ተደርጓል፡፡
በመጨረሻም የሲቭል ሰርቪስ ኮሚሽን ኮሚሽነር አቶ በዛብህ ገ/የስ በሠራተኞች ለተነሱ ጥያቄዎች ምላሽ በመስጠትና ወደፊት በተቋሙ የሚሰሩ ዋና ዋና ሥራዎችን በማመለካት የመዝጊያ ንግግር አድርገው ፕሮግራሙ ተጠናቋል፡

በኢንስቲትዩቱ 100 ቀናት ዕቅድ ላይ ውይይት ተካሄደ!

በኢትዮጵያ ሥራ አመራር ኢንስቲትዩቱ በጊዜያዊ ዋና ዳይሬክተርነት የተመደቡት አቶ ማስረሻ አበበ 100 ቀናት ዕቅድ ዙሪያ ከኢንስቲትዩቱ የሥራ አመራር ቡድን ጋር ተወያዩ፡፡በውይይቱ ላይም በቀጣይ 100 ቀናት ሊጠናቀቁ የሚችሉ አንኳርና ቁልፍ ችግሮች ላይ በማተኮርጤቱን መለካት በሚቻልበት ሁኔታ ዝርዝር የድርጊት መርሐ ግብር በማዘጋጀት ከአጠቃላይ ከተቋሙ ሠራተኞች ጋር በአጭር ጊዜ ውስጥ ውይይት እንንዲካሄድ በጊ// ዳይሬክተር በኩል አቅጣጫ ተሰጥቷል፡፡
ታህሳስ 18 ቀን 2011 . ኢንስቲትዩቱን የማስተባበር ኃላፊነት ከወሰዱ በኋላ ከሥራ አመራሩ ቡድኑ ጋር ይህ ያደረጉት ውይይት የመጀመሪያው እንደሆነ ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡

Ethiopian Management Institute is one of the foremost learning institutions with significant contributions in the country's management development by building the capacity of development agents through research, consultancy, and training interventions in various management fields since its establishment in 1950s. EMI now organized the 6th annual national conference on public service reform under the major theme of public Sector transformation for sustainable development in Ethiopia. The conference highlights governance, reform and service delivery in the public sector. A core argument is public sector transformation is crucial for the effectiveness and efficiency of the public service delivery. Nine research papers are selected for this conference; among these eight research papers are carried out by EMI staff members. The diversity of the papers presented will enable participants share ideas of the respective organizational practices.

     

             

ISO 19011:2011 Training on Qulaity Management Auditing for Ethiopian Management Institute Staff

iso 19001 auditing trainingEthiopia Management Institute has implemented ISO 9001:2015(Quality Management System). ISO 9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps the institution to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction.

Implementing a quality management system will help EMI:

Assess the overall context of the institution to define who is affected by its work and what they expect from EMI. This will enable to clearly state the objectives and identify new business opportunities.

Put the customers first, making sure EMI consistently meet customers’ needs and exceed their expectations. This can lead to repeat custom, new clients and increased business for the organization.

Work in a more efficient way as all the processes will be aligned and understood by everyone in the organization. This increases productivity and efficiency, bringing internal costs down.

Meet the necessary statutory and regulatory requirements.

Expand into new markets, as some sectors and clients require ISO 9001 before doing business.

Identify and address the risks associated with the Institute.

The training on ISO 19011:2011 provides guidance on auditing management systems, including the principles of auditing, managing an audit programme and conducting management system audits, as well as guidance on the evaluation of competence of individuals involved in the audit process, including the person managing the audit programme, auditors and audit teams.

EMI’s research focuses on studying management of the public, private and civil society sectors.

Staff explores new dynamics in leadership and civil service reforms, public service governance and development, institutional reform and transformation, performance of management of the public and private sectors, and development evaluation of public policies, programmes and projects and management of public sector organizations.
